These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the QR Attendance mobile application and related services provided by Survivors Protective Services.
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
About the Service
The Service is designed to support security operations, including recording guard attendance, site activity, reporting, and operational oversight. The Service may allow QR scanning, manual attendance submission, photo capture, location verification, PDF export, and scheduled email reporting.
Eligibility & Business Use
The Service is intended for business and workforce use. You must be authorized by your organization (or by Survivors Protective Services) to use the Service. You represent that you have authority to accept these Terms where you are using the Service on behalf of an organization.
Accounts, Access & Security
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- You must promptly notify us of any suspected unauthorized access.
- You agree to provide accurate profile information and keep it reasonably up to date.
- Access to features depends on your assigned role (e.g., guard or administrator).
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent activity.
- Submit false attendance data, impersonate others, or manipulate records.
- Attempt to bypass site restrictions, access controls, or security mechanisms.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except where permitted by law.
- Interfere with the Service (e.g., introduce malware, exploit vulnerabilities, or disrupt operations).
Attendance Records, Verification & Accuracy
The Service may use device time, server time, QR identifiers, location signals, and optional photos to support attendance verification. You agree that submissions should reflect real events and that records may be audited by authorized administrators.
Photos, Location & Permissions
Certain features require device permissions (such as camera and location). If you deny these permissions, some functionality may not be available. Your use of these features must comply with your organization's policies and applicable laws.
Reports (PDF Export & Email Delivery)
- The Service may generate and export PDF reports based on attendance data.
- Administrators may configure scheduled email reports to authorized recipients.
- You are responsible for ensuring recipient lists are accurate and authorized.
Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, software, and content, is owned by Survivors Protective Services and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose, subject to these Terms.
Privacy
Our collection and use of information is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have reviewed the Privacy Policy and understand how information is handled.
Availability, Changes & Updates
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We may also release updates that change the behavior or availability of features. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Service.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, your access is no longer authorized, or to protect the security and integrity of the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service stops immediately.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of any kind, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fully secure.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Survivors Protective Services will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount paid (if any) for use of the Service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Survivors Protective Services from and against claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of applicable laws or third-party rights.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in your operating jurisdiction, unless otherwise required by law. Where permitted, disputes will be resolved in the courts with appropriate jurisdiction.
